Discrimination is discrimination, and the democratic party of MY boomer generation is about inclusion. So this handful of Hillary supporters aren't going to support the party if....what? If they would turn their back on the party, then I say, "Good riddance, regardless of their age." BUT, by virtue of describing them as an "over the hill" mob brought age into the picture, and infers that our demographic is....stupid? Or that we don't know what we are talking about? Or, that we are out of touch? So, I feel that I have a responsibility to try to enlighten these younger Dems who would be just as outraged if something were posted referencing their age demographic in an unflattering manner. make your voice heard. but folks are gonna come at us in all kinds of ways trying to divide us. by age, sex, race etc. again, although the comment was about age-the attack was on hill's demo not us. so much has changed because of the efforts of our boomers, i am an aa so you know much has changed in my lifetime. you guys are leading the way now. the youngin's have lived in a world of freedoms they don't really know. they have to be taught but, it matters how they are taught. in anger or in brother/sisterhood.

hill claimed she had older women. we cannot begin this ge allowing stuff to be divisive. i am a boomer too. but, i understand where the poster was coming from. i will not let my age difference divide me from other supporters. as the younger ones can learn from us older ones-there is lots we can learn from them. i don't let my race or sex or economics divide me either. we are all working for towards the same goal. i don't walk away because folks post the n word on here. do i like to hear it no, but we're all working toward the same goal. let's keep our eyes on the prize. and not get caught up.
