1. Russert and the rest of the press seem to want to constantly

blame Scotty for not letting his feelings be known. That's their escape hatch in this thing. Keep blaming McClellan. It was McClellan's job to bea spokesperson for the corrupt bastards not to question or make policy. He lied for em and now he's washing his hands and cashing in as he knows the house of cards is coming apart. It wouldn't of mattered if he said anything as they would have gotten rid of him and made sure the slandered him on the way out. It's a lose/lose scenario. Russert is a just another tool of the admin himself as he has pretty much given the Bush admin a free pass.

It makes me wonder what is the next shoe to drop. The complicit media is going to point at McClellan as the reason why they were so biased to the wrong side no matter how this plays out.
