3. Is this Jim Webb's bill he's talking about?
GI Bill 2008. If so Hillary and Obama are both sponsors. Bush and McCain oppose it.

but it's NOT being sent to Bush as a BILL

it's being packaged together with enough money to make college free for all veterans and nonveterans except that all that money is being spent on killing people

i'm sorry if it's confusing, but it's important

more funding for the war UNLESS its to get our troops out of Iraq...that having been said, our veterans desperately need this new GI bill. For the lives of many soldiers this is the difference between sleeping in a cardboard box under a bridge somewhere and actually being able to pay rent and bills. I'm not saying more war funding should be allowed to go through to allow the new GI bill to go through...if anything we should all contact out respective senators and representatives to strip out anything that is directly attached to the new GI bill itself. It should be voted on as a stand-alone issue.
