I don't dislike Obama one bit, but Gravel's criticism of how campaigns are run and what it is the candidates talk about is spot on. Just like with Obama, there are things I agree with Gravel about, and things that I disagree with him about. I loved having him in the race, and the way that the media, the other candidates, and even supposed leftist websites like this one discounted him is disgusting. He's not criticizing Obama on his platform, just saying that he wants to discuss it. At least someone has the balls to laugh at these people instead of just storming off and crying in a corner when they aren't invited to the patticake party.

We had issues. We had Tuzla-gate, Flagpin Flap and Pastorbate. How could anyone not see the great linkage between these and their impact on mortgage foreclosures, the "Iraq war," health care or global warming is beyond me.

As for Gravel, he had a great sense of humor but he got discredited for me when most of his few responses were quips and one-line jabs for laughs rather than using what little time he did get to throw as much of his thoughts into the debate. He had some great things to say, just misused what little time he was given to say them. In the aftermath of his campaign, he's been doing this crazy stuff with Obama Girl and other rap-tracked fluff.
