1. I heard that too and thought it was weird. |
|
But I wasn't sure, maybe they do need hot water?
Beats me.

7. They need sterile water. |
|
Which would not necessarily be "hot" when delivered. But it would have been at one time.
Water born illness is a number one killer in third world and developing countries.

8. This is the first cogent translation of that statement |
|
that I've come across. I, like so many others, were scratching our heads trying to sort that one out. I got the need for rehydration and for those fluids being both potable and portable. Just never put the hot = sterile construct together. Thanks!

12. Generally... infant formula is mixed with sterile water. |
|
I'm a midwife by education... so this is the first thing I thought of.
I'd rather see them have breastmilk, of course. But..... if their mama is dead or AIDS + that's not really workable in most cases.

13. Oh, and I should clarify.... |
|
Water borne illness kills the most infants in third world countries.
I am not sure about what kills the most adults. Cuz adults, if they make adulthood, have often developed resistance.

McCainisms, anyone?
What is it with Repugs? Why do they keep offering old and/or loopy candidates for Prez? They have turned the office of Prez into a PR position. Why must the real GOP power hide in an undisclosed location behind a front man?
