I've been screaming Sebelius for months. It's nice to hear someone else promote her.

8. That would really piss Hillary off ... |
|
That would really piss Hillary off as the only thing she has to "hold the party hostage with" could be eliminated with one simple choice by Obama.
Honestly, I think a LOT of women have really gotten used to the idea and the reason they cling to Hillary is because of that idea of having the first women president as in "it's about time". At this point, selecting a female running mate would placate these voters and eliminate any need for Hillary.

Would some of them resent the idea that she takes the back seat to yet another male president? I'm referring to die-hard voters for which this is a concern to begin with obviously, not the majority of Hillary supporters.

First, Kennedy really had a use for LBJ's support at the Convention to become the nominee. But most of all, its the TV stupid. TV's influence was just getting off the ground and the VP was routinely ignored. Unfortunately for Hillary, her incredible presence on TV cannot be ignored and in fact will be a massive distraction by an MSM now very practiced to hurting Dems from the side. She in fact sealed that massive negative by airing on TV what in politics should be kept unspoken or confidential.
If JFK at the Convention got up and said he would be wearing a cheap suit at the first live debates few would understand the consequences. Today we understand quite well the consequences of TV distraction and labeling and Hillary played right into that as she has consistently played right into the VRWC keeping her campaign in the MSM spotlight. She has virtually unselected herself with impolitic choices right in front of the cameras who have been her most consistent and brutal adversary. All other pluses and minuses, and they are legion, the minuses always harshly prevailing in modern VP selections, have become moot.
Unlike LBJ who bought out and owned media stations, she has not wisely played the hostile spotlight nor the traditional political etiquette while insisting on deadly caution and slowness in dealing with America's first dictator. What ifs and mights have been effectively removed by her basic political blunder. In fact, that blunder is wasting yet more party time as the MSM has its last fun with the Clintons.
