1. The Hitler being partly Jewish is a rumor that went around

during his lifetime. There was a great writeup about it in The Straight Dope volume 2 or 3--I bet if you go to the website you could find it. Edited to add: I just did, and here's the citation:

Anyway, Hitler's father was illegitimate, and there were claims he was fathered by a Jewish boy from the family where his mother worked as a servant. However, no Jews were allowed to live in the town where his mother worked at the time when Hitler's father was born.

Lieberman is supporting Hagee only because the preacher is supporting Israel--for now. I can't help but feel that Jews who support this person are playing with fire--after all, Hagee feels that once Jesus comes again, all Jews will convert or go to h*ll. And from his speeches, he has no problems with a bunch of Jews dying while he waits for the Second Coming.

2. Lieberman is an ass, as is Hagee

McCain falls into the same category....Isn't Hagee still supporting McCain? Did he "reject" him?
(I've been so caught up in the primaries, I have much catching up to do on these topics) :)

3. amazing how many people Hagee slurred in 30 seconds

He zinged Jews, Karl Marx, homosexuals, and Germans in one breath. I'm a little surprised that he doesn't think the Roman Catholic Papacy is the Anti-Christ; that seems to be standard with Protestant evangelicals. Still, Hagee's tv show is entertaining in a bizarre way; he can really get rolling, and his backwards comments on wives, families, "Christian finances" are sure to make the non-religious laugh.
