7. I agree with him, but I think her influence is overstated.

She did well in the last few states because Obama decided to not campaign against her. It was the smart strategic move. Most of her supporters will get over themselves by November. There are the hard core racists and the really stupid ones who will probably vote for McCain, but most of them would have done so anyway.

There are plenty of intelligent people out there that Obama can won over with or without Hillary's help. In some respects, it will be better if she never does get on board.

The divide is less about race and economics as it is about age. Hillary's strongest demographic is women over 60. And people of that generation may have some trouble turning it over to the next generation. In a visceral level, it is an admission that their generation really let things get fucked up and there is no time left to fix them. I mean, McCain ain't fixing anything.

Obama's appear to that group has to be for their own legacy. Is this really the world they want to leave for their grandchildren? This is a chance for all whose of that aging generation to do something for their grandchildren.

That is a tough emotional change. I remember the first time I visited a doctor who was younger than me. It is this same sort of feeling, trusting the next generation to take on the problems we have created.

But in the end, what are the good alternatives? Three aren't any, so most of those people will come to understand that before November.

Cenk didn't mention the part about bilary's needing to be completely vetted for the vp.

We're thinking this will keep hilary off for one reason..there's been a lot of confusion surrounding this so we'll see what happened at the clintons DC home tonight.
