1. Blackout of Network News reporting Resolution for Impeachment |
|
It is so sad that we have to watch Keith Olberman to get the news on Resolution for Impeachment of President Bush.
I love Olberman, but he should be a supplement to the News.. not the sole reporter on the news.
What another sad day for Democracy.
All of my local news stations refused to report on Rep. Kucinich's Resolution.
Here in progressive Minneapolis. I called the stations 2x yesterday. and 2x tonight.

a disaster for the Democrats. She should be impeached! What she's doing is negligent and criminal. Afraid to execute and protect the Constitution is ground for expulsion. No backbone whatsoever is what I see from this speaker. She a total disgrace.

16. When I read her quote from that Charlie Rose interview where she says that |
|
* is wonderful and all that and from a "great, patriotic" family, I couldn't believe it. Sure, there is some need for diplomatic conduct but NO need to say things like that! How could she go from sharpest critic to admirer of * ?? There is something seriously wrong with that person...

15. Okay, if impeachment is off the table, can Congress censure a sitting president |
|
...and vice president?
Censure
Less severe than expulsion, a censure (sometimes referred to as condemnation or denouncement) does not remove a senator from office. It is a formal statement of disapproval, however, that can have a powerful psychological effect on a member and his/her relationships in the Senate. In 1834, the Senate censured President Andrew Jackson – the first and only time the Senate censured a president. Since 1789 the Senate has censured nine of its members.
That way, Bush's and Cheney's high crimes, treason and misdemeanors can go down in the records to discredit, condemn and denounce these two characters throughout history.
