The large demonstration against the United States involvement in the Vietnam War as millions participating throughout the world.

Its been a while since I've uploaded some videos (original YouTube account was tombstoned because MLB didn't like some of the NY Mets stuff I had) and this is a clip I've posted a couple of years ago, but since then I've got a ton of great newscasts from the 1960's-1990's; stories on: Nixon getting elected, Nixon getting tossed-out, Reagan's staff stealing Carter's pre-debate notes, Noam Chomsky on CNBC, deaths of Truman, LBJ, etc. I'm aiming to have some up in the coming weeks.

2. Wow, looking forward to those clips.....
not only for nostalgia, but for comparing the quality of TV journalism then and now.

7. I'm nostalgic for that time too.
When we had REAL journalists. Not hacks.

3. this is awesome! the Moratorium, The (magnificent) Chicago Seven, and the HASC ...
giving Nixon the go-ahead to draft only 19 y/o's...

one prescious bit was Congress saying it was wonderful to see the people expressing dissent...

boy, those were the days.

4. You beat me to it.
Even more amazing was that members from both sides of the aisle said it was good for citizens to express dissent.

6. Yah, and it was wonderful how members on both sides of the aisle ignored it.
