3. And he knows what it feels like to be abandoned
Since Barack Sr. was in Kenya while Barack Jr. was being raised with his grandfather as his only father figure.

He wrote about him in his 1st book, praising him highly for his wisdom and guidance. Lalo Soetoro, an Indonesian oil company and government functionary, was later divorced from Anne Dunham and died in 1987.

9. this is a speech everyone should hear - if they could listen long enough
Our media and rw hacks can not listen more than a minute or cut out everything good and focus on one word or something they can rile people up with - that is so good he used Chris Rock and eighth grade graduation - it is something you are suppose to do - handshake and move on to college - he really has a sense of both sides of white and black people of the world - not being black enough and now he is too black - that was great -

I really like the image of him and Michelle where the sound was off and I sensed they have a good partnership - not where one is better than the other - at least not within their relationship - they have learned to maneuver within a world where they were the minority which helps them know how to measure their words to say what will be good for themselves and others

Great DAD speech - too many MIA dads - change - this is what Bill Cosby has been saying - he has been listening to others and bringing in the best parts to this character he is becoming -

10. WOW. It's a speech McCain could never give.
In fact, did McCain even MAKE a speech today?

It's got to be hard to show your face on Father's Day when you dumped your wife and kids for an heiress wotth $100 million.
