2. He wants to 'hold them accountable' by finding out more

about what they have done. Except they ignore subpoenas. And we already know enough about what they have done to hold them accountable for it.

So, Dorgan, who I otherwise quite like, thinks investigation = accountability. what's wrong with that picture?

You might want to take a closer look at all the things Dorgan has tried to do, and that have been blocked by the "other 50" club, like excess profits tax on big oil years ago already. He learned this lesson trying!!

7. Turn the table....you KNOW the repugs would go after a Democratic administration....

They wouldn't give a rat's ass if there were three hours left in this administration...they would go after the pResident with impeachment.....even over a stained dress, for Christ's sake.

I swear, these politicians are spineless. Because we start impeachment proceedings, does that mean we have to stop other legislation and hearings??? Idiots!!

For some of our representatives, it seems that the worst punishment possible for public malfeasance is to be the subject of "hearings."

I sure wish they felt the same way about the War on Drugs. Then, instead of ruining lives and bankrupting the country with useless prosecutions, we could scare all the dope dealers into going straight by threatening them with "hearings" instead of prison.
