Donohue/Posner: Discussion with Noam Chomsky (Part One)

Aired in 1993 ... I'm going to break it up in varoius parts and I'll cut & paste the first three paragraphs to additional parts.

This is one of the strangest videos I came across. I brought it for a $1.00 at a flea market (great deal) and during breaks in Donohue/Ponzer the person who taped this would channel surf to this low-rent, public-access XXX show. One of the XXX commercials had this guy who looked like a cross between Hugh Hefner and a Geico cavemen surrounded by five tranny-like Women (though there was one hot Asian chick)

The person also taped some great Malcolm X stuff too ... if anyone finds or has any cool news tapes from the past and can't convert them to DVD/MP3 let me know.

The discussion is still focused on Bonsia, but expands to "moral agents" and WWII. Chomsky gets into the media later in the show including a knock-down on Tom Wolfe

You'll notice how he doesn't let one significant thing slip by. He refutes the notion that the US fought WWII for moral reasons and completely confuses Donahue. "We fought because we were attacked".
