5. the sickest part of this is that Colmes

so willingly went along with playing the terrible terrible ad accusing Obama of being a Muslim. It's like all the press reports that discussed Michelle Obama's "whitey" comments--they gave oxygen to the story by telling us that the claims were wholly unsubstantiated, so we had stories about non-stories that became stories because they weren't stories.

It's all a little too meta even for me.
