When does this man NOT get heckled?? John McCain was speaking to latino leaders at the NALEC. A woman in the audience suddenly interrupts with a JOHN MCCAIN=GUERRA(war) sign, SCREAMING in spanish and screaming "Your silence is to accept war crimes!!! and "War criminal!!" The audience was less than enthused to drown her out, then ANOTHER woman disrupts the speech again in the end.

Lousy video, but who was the audience clapping for?

1. He would or will never do anything to dishonor ...? Too late. Deed done when he changed his mind
on TORTURE. A stance which puts all our service people at higher risk.

They say all it takes for evil to flourish is for good people to do nothing. But McShame couldn't even stop at nothing. He had to endorse a policy that's criminal and has and will cost us dearly.

being stopped. Although, if you look carefully, there are people clapping for the protesters on their way out, too.

Two things: Demonstrations are MUCH more accepted in Latino culture BUT, being rude to a guest is also a no-no bigtime. LOL _- the organizers must have really mixed feelings. Obama's anti-war material got a big response from this same crowd.

3. I thought it was funny that they started clapping
right after McSame said "And in conclusion..."

I'm wondering of those women were from Code Pink, as both had pink banners.

9. I was going out to a vigil myself today, but I saw two of them
on the news before I left. One is an Arizona CPer and one is an Indiana CPer. I am very proud of my friends today, as usual.

6. They were...
ABC News' Bret Hovell and Jennifer Duck report: Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., was interrupted repeatedly by hecklers as he and his likely Democratic presidential opponent, Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., separately addressed the National Association of Latino Elected Officials Saturday, at the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Washington, D.C.

McCain was interrupted four times by protestors, three of whom were identifiable as CodePink members. Four separate interruptions (as opposed to the number of people protesting, which can vary) may tie a record for recent McCain events. In Denver in late May, McCain was interrupted four times during a foreign policy speech.

One of the protestors spoke in Spanish, then translated as she was getting hauled out of the room: "Your silence is consent to war crimes," she shouted at the crowd, which booed her.

Three of the protestors were women, one was a man.

7. I didn't hear much of the crowd booing her.
And when she started speaking in English, it pretty much stopped altogether. Interesting.
