1. Is it just me or is Rachael... |

...kinda going off the reservation on this one? I smell 'higher-up' pressure to find fault with Obama over the issue of how the Obama Campaign is, or isn't, beating the drums over the statement from that dumbass Cracker Gramm (by the way he is originally from Georgia so the foo really shits). This guy from The Atlantic, Green, was right on...when your opponent, and in particular one of his minions, has set fire to himself/themselves, you don't need to try and throw gas on it in order to let it do it's work - you might just get burned in the process...and you especially don't do it yourself, you let a John Edwards say what he said. Sure you pick up on what it demonstrates, that these guys are not only out of touch with the rest of us, they're also proud of it.
Rachael, given the non-stop support that McCain gets from the rightwing media, and since your's and to a great degree Keith's and most of MSNBC, seem to be the only one's rationalizing Obama's choices and positions, you need to make sure that the take-away from every piece is a net positive for Obama and a reassurance that he and his people know exactly what they're doing...in other words, you may question some things but you need to also provide the best possible answer and potential outcome in order to keep the momentum going. I know you want the Repugnicans out of power as much or more than the rest of us, so it won't hurt if you try and offset the work of the rest of the media.
