Why are there still so many uninformed, misinformed people out there? If you ask me it's primarily because of those (sadly somewhat effective) anti-Obama smear emails.

and notice was published in Stars & Stripes.

It's truly a sad commentary on the American psyche that you can send an e-mail full of falsehoods with the recipients taking it at face value.

Americans make their decisions based on emotional falsehoods and little facts to back them up. This is a country that gets what it deserves.
