4. Conyers doesn't want to fuck with the Vets for Peace

at least not too much, or too obviously.

I loved watching those Vets hold Conyers' feet to the fire during those clips that were on DU
recently.

Between the Vets for Peace pressure and the supposed (I'll believe it when I see it) "Pelosi opening"
to start impeachment hearings ... indeed something could well be up. It's just the exact nature of that
"something" that is not yet clear.

5. I had a sense that he had a lot of respect for them,

and that he's not going to let them down, that there is method in his madness
or what many people call his stalling.

3. I won't give up trying to get them to do what is right and what is their

job. They seem to forget that they work for 'we the people'.
