This guy basically states why I like Obama too. Reasonable, objective and honest approach to things.
Which of course also translates into recognizing the Iraq war as being a dumb war. But thats just a side effect.

the rock star idol category that so many on the right say like Obama. All the Obama supporters I know are intelligent "thinkers" who have thought about what Obama is fighting for. Most people who stand by McCain are on his side because of religious beliefs (anti-abortion, anti-gay) or because he won't raise taxes (their not really sure who is going to pay the debt that Bush has run up nor do they know that Obama is not planning on raising taxes in their category of earnings) and really have no clue what is going on in our country or our world. One, I thought bright republican supporter of McCain, said to me the other day that there was nothing wrong with our economy "look at all the food we have in our stores". She admitted she hadn't been paying attention to the campaigns at all (or the news apparently).
