2. I have heard that the Repubs have spent resources to get Journalism Scholarships...

To have Republican Reporters. Many people claim that the MSM is Liberal... It is not. It is Moderate to Conservative. Reporters Tend to Centrism to Republican. 15/16 of the MSM is run by Republicans or Independents. The MSM is not Liberal. Many Reporters are not unbiased. In fact unbiased reporting is an ideal that the News Editors do not allow. The Editors pick stories that will not offend their Advertisers.

3. The GOP has always had the ability to make "reporters" present the GOPs counter-factual arguments.

CBS's original reporting of McCain's Iraq "gaff" the other day was unusual BECAUSE IT WAS UNUSUAL. It laid out exactly what McCain said - and exactly why he was wrong, all using undisputed facts.

Of course CBS "fixed" it later.

Is alive and well and thriving in America. Only the American citizens haven't realized what the Russian people realized a long, long time ago -- that the "facts" were only the ones they were supposed to hear.
