Republican from Emery County Utah - elected official - locked from his office and kicked out after questioning the integrity of Diebold machines.

1. How can our elected officials look at this -

and not storm down the doors? I understand that many are yes-men for companies like Diebold -- but this could affect THEM, as well.

is no longer a true democracy, and the folks doing this are going to try to expand their power to other countries (notably mine). If congress ever gets around to a full examination of this administration, the depth of criminality will be utterly outrageous.

This guy is a hero. How can anyone NOT pay attention to the problems with voting machines.

That is the ONE good thing about Lou Dobbs is that he covers election integrity issues.

Did you know - in the Netherlands, early this year the government decided that all elections must take place with paper ballots from now on until further notice, because there is no way to guarantee the integrity of electronic vote counting.

The heading of the Press Release (dated May 16th, 2008) is "Stemmen met potlood en papier". The exact translation is "Voting with pencil and paper". The first line: "So long as there is no good alternative, the Netherlands votes with pencil and paper. This is what the council of Ministers has decided." It says they will only consider using machines again in the future if they provide for a voter-verified paper ballot, and then the paper ballots can be counted by machine and recounted manually if necessary.

Where do they live? My husband was born in Teteringen (near Breda in the South) and his family lives in Oosterhout. When we lived there, we lived in Zeist. My son was born in Utrecht.
