I think McCain has finally fallen into the grips of the Republican Machine.
I remember watching McCain campaign in 2000 and over the next few years, he appears now nothing like he did then. The only conclusion I can muster is that McCain is either going senile or that McCain isn't McCain. No we are not watching the Maverick Senator of the past 25+ years. We aren't watching the one known to step up and fight even against those in his own party when he disagreed with a bill, an ammendment or a platform.
Besides McCain's energy policy (He actually agrees with a step towards a green economy, his platform appears to be lock and step in line with the Republican Party Platform. We even see glimpses that he is willing to sell himself completly to the Republican machine.
