2. how will they maintain the fiction?
The US was attacked, by al ciada, on Sept11/01. But was it? Were reactionary anti democratic political forces involved in any way, in any aspect of 911? What is the cost of pretending the fiction is true? Why did the MIC renegades murder Prez Kennedy in '63, and does it matter that virtually no one except well paid hirelings persist in claiming Oswald did it alone? How much of our history is nonsense? Does it matter? Does truth matter?

4. It does matter...
That is why there is so much effort to control our perception in the mainstream media.

until they figured out how to just steal the elections" even Corrupt Bastards Club tee-shirt sales will drop off!

5. How many years was the Russian Army in Afghanistan?
We'll be there a few more years no matter what happens in Iraq. Even if NATO sends more troops and we send more troops we're going to get sent packing in the end.

Unfortunately, Obama has to support military action SOMEWHERE in the Middle East or he would be seen as an enemy by the Military-Industrial-Corporate complex, so Afghanistan will have to be the spot until it becomes intolerable to Americans.

7. I agree.
I think Obama is throwing the military industrial complex a bone too with Obama's talk about escalating troops in Afghanistan. It concerns me because our troops and the Afghans will suffer the consequences. The Russians could not win in Afghanistan and neither will we.

What is of even more concern is Obamas statements regarding starting war with Iran. Obama seems to me to be strongly in the camp of those who want to wage war with Iran. Talk about a disaster!!
