That's exactly what I meant by Foxy. CNN is at least expected to adhere to a higher standard than that report of hers.

35. That's the only reason they covered it at all
Because somebody told them there was a Kabuki theater running, so they rushed right over with cameras rolling. That's ALL they do. If you want coverage of serious news, you came to the wrong place, fella.

23. At first I was glad the hearing got some publicity
until I was stung by "waste of tax-payers money". Since when is finally speaking out about what a rotten presidency this has been a waste of tax-payer money? It's about time this stuff has been said in such a way - Three cheers for speaking the truth! Sometimes I watch the news and think if the administration is really that bad, then everyone would speak up; I must be too sensitive or something.

Dear CNN,

Re: Campbell Brown and Erica Hill’s coverage of the impeachment hearings.

That little bit of fluff and Bush fellating was another black mark and low point for journalism in our country. There already is an entire station devoted to twisting facts to favor those in power at the present, it’s Fox News and the propaganda should be left for them. It is this type of false journalism that brought us the Bush presidency, the Iraq War, the housing crisis and guaranties more of the same in the future. This issue is very important, but no one would know that by watching this report.
This is not hyperbole, you really should look in the mirror and be honest about the damage you’ve done to the country with your low standards and tabloid approach to reporting.

Apparently Erica didn't bother to actually listen to any of the testimony that was presented.

You have to give it to the Bush Crime Family, they and their MSM toadies have done everything in their power to reduce to a joke the idea of impeaching this law-breaking, lying, little bugger.

Yes, Speaker Pelosi, I include you as a member of the Bush Crime Family.

This is supposedly one of the "liberal media" outlets.

39. Wow. That was indescribable.
First off, they showed an enormous lack of respect for calling a Congressional hearing "Kabuki theater".

They treated the proceedings as if they were a beauty pageant for dogs. What a farce.

But I was most astounded that Lamar Smith and Trent Franks have suddenly become Democrats.

This was propaganda at it's finest.

"But I was most astounded that Lamar Smith and Trent Franks have suddenly become Democrats."

Interesting that they mention Republicans who attended and then show Smith and Franks as Democrats speaking against impeachment and the hearing in general.

Just wanted to check the CNN video...link

44. Frankly, you can thank Nancy Pelosi for this.
Because she took impeachment off the table, she caused this to be nothing more than a giant whining session. Why should CNN or anyone else take this Democratic Congress seriously? They've let the Bush administration steamroller them with zero fear for any consequences.

I didn't particularly like either of those two shitheads, but the reason why you see a clip like this as this Congress's legacy is because of Pelosi and the Democratic leadership. Isn't there a Democrat running against Pelosi who can replace her?!?

47. “First they ignore you, then they laugh at you...
...then they fight you, then you win.” -- Gandhi

So, on to Step 3 then...

Everyone just needs to keep talking impeachment.

Complain to these bubble heads. Demand more from DC-Dems. Call them ALL on their lies about "not enough time" and "backlash" (which is as real as the WMD in Iraq).

The hard part was getting them to stop ignoring. A whole new wave of people have been made aware of the possibility of impeachment by this "exchange." Most people can hear the emptiness of their (oxymoronic) "stagecraft" jeering.

Impeachment remains our ONLY moral, patriotic option.

If you are wasting effort on anything else -- including (genuflect) The Sacred National Election Horserace -- then you (yes, you personally) are part of the problem, not the solution.
