David Cameron today had a "very positive" meeting with US presidential candidate Barack Obama. In an exclusive Webcameron film, David revealed that the two men discussed Iran, Afghanistan, Iraq and the Middle East peace process.

They also talked about tackling the "long-term underlying problems" affecting both the US and British economies. David added that it was "fascinating" to hear Senator Obama's perspective on the ongoing US presidential campaign.

Webcameron is the personal video blog of David Cameron, leader of the Conservative Party, where he gives you a behind-the-scenes look at what he's been up to. Visit http://www.conservatives.com for more information.

This guy could be the next Prime Minister of the UK. They could be working together, especially if Gordon Brown stays where he is in the polls. And yes, Cameron is from the "Conservative Pary".

1. What bugs the 'R's" is...
...the dems always end up with the most likeable presidents while the repubs end up with the most hated and villified presidents

Microphone Picks Up Private Conversation Between Obama and British Leader on Need for Vacations and 'Thinking' Time

July 26, 2008 8:40 AM

At British Parliament today, Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, met with Tory Leader David Cameron.

Seemingly unaware of an enormous fuzzy boom mike held by ABC News' Eric Kerchner, the two chatted casually -- and privately.

"You should be on the beach," Cameron told Obama. "You need a break. Well, you need to be able to keep your head together."

"You've got to refresh yourself," agreed Obama.

"Do you have a break at all?" asked Cameron.

"I have not," said Obama. "I am going to take a week in August. But....

5. yes, but he's much more powerful than even Gordon Brown right now
at least, that's what I'm reading.

Gordon Brown is out as soon as he'll allow anyone to vote on it. Even the headline of Brown's meeting with Obama today implies that he "needs comfort" from some kind of loss in Glasgow or something.

8. It's a different situation
We know that Nicholas Sarkozy will remain President of France through May 2012. We don't know who will be the Socialists candidate in the Presidential election of 2012.

The situation in the UK is we know there will be a general election by May 2010 at the latest, and there is a high likelihood that David Cameron will become Prime Minister in 2010.

Plus it's easier to meet with British politicians because Obama doesn't need an interpreter.

6. Cameron gave obama some CD's
"the Smiths, Radiohead and Gorillaz" - we are definitely dealing with a new generation now

he also said that he wouldn't have a chance if he had to run against Obama himself
