42. You can see the coming "poutrage" a mile away
Speaking in a purely opportunistic political "We Need A Democrat In The White House" sense, it would have been my preference that this film came out after Bush left office. In an historical sense, it's unprecedented that a major motion picture criticizing a President be released while that person is still the President.

This is what the wingnut crowd will jump all over; they'll scream "UNFAIR!" and "HOLLYWOOD LOVES OBAMA!" It'll be stupid and hyperbolic, to be certain, but we could do without the distraction and side-show, if you ask me.

I can think of no reason to release this film while Bush is still in office.

10. James Cromwell as G .H. W. Bush, lol!
James is a friend of my cousin, who is an executive producer out in lala land. He's a MAJOR progressive who donates loads of time and money to liberal causes. I doubt if he'd be involved unless the film totally roasts "W".

12. That's great news! I don't know if I can
stomach even an hour of watching, though. It's too painful for me, and I've had to put up with his smirk longer since I live in Texas.

love Love LOVE James Cromwell! One of my favs.

14. He's an absolute sweetheart. I love it when he plays nasty characters
because it's totally against type. He's a really warm, compassionate, funny guy who is oddly "young and hip" for his age. I can't think of any characters that he's played who are actually that much like him. But that's the sign of a great actor then isn't it? ;-)

38. It is, truly. His character was a hologram in "I, Robot", and he played
a brilliant A.I. scientist who was totally self-sacrificing. Literally. If you haven't seen "I, Robot," you should. It is a wonderful, and exciting movie. His character in one of the star Trek movies was also brilliant, but very normal, wanting an easier life after a nuclear halocaust.

Nice chatting with you about him. Alot of gals get all giddy over the likes of Brad Pitt, but my favorites have always been the character actors. They have awesome voices and real talent. Kevin Spacey, Tommy Lee Jones, Steve Buscemi, Daniel Davis, Liev Schreiber, and the list goes on and on...

17. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Oliver Stone? Oh, OK....if he must!

Personally, I'm sick of the Bushes and their ilk. I went to prep school with Marvin in the 70's, and my aunt is all chummy with them now. I may go see this flick for a laugh....in about 20 years.

20. Ha! The 41 actor played Jack Bauer's EVIL FATHER on 24
That actor -- he played Bauer's evil father who killed his own son and betrayed everything. At that time, I thought he resembled GHWB. This is good casting.

Isn't the point of a trailer to generate interest and get people to go see the movie?

W snorting cocaine?

W doing three ways with black hookers and his college roomie?

W snorting cocaine AND doing three ways with black hookers and his college roomie?

And speaking of black hookers, will the movie show Mistress Condi in black leather thigh-high boots?
("....as I was saying to my husband....")

And while we're on the subject of three-ways, will it show Dumbya, Pickles and the turkey baster?
("...no shit? twins?)

Come on Ollie, inquiring minds want to know.

40. Dreyfuss looks PERFECT... although he's likely just reprising his character in...
... "The American President." Sen. Bob Rumson looks a lot like Cheney.

Prescient, considering the film came out in 1995.
