1. You would think McCain would have learned from watching |

Obama in the primary.
Negative ads against Obama have a way of helping, not hurting, Obama.
McCaskill and Reed and Hagel all made McCain seem so little, so NOT presidential, in comparison to Obama. And they did it by saying things like McCain is better than this. Their take-the-high-road approach made McCain seem like a little boy in contrast to the Presidential Obama.

I'm hearing from Rep friends who are saying they don't like these tactics and won't be voting rep this year. I'm sure that isn't universal, but it's nice to know some people are above this sort of thing.
What I don't get, is how McCain can say he is always there for the troops when he voted against the legislation to provide more benefits for the vets? Why didn't anyone ask him about that part of his ad?

3. My very own Republican brother, very rush limbo, is NOT voting. |
|
So, we told him he couldn't be in any of our conversations. Not voting. No place in the debate. Period.
Boy, did he squirm. I know he just wants to vote for Obama.... I know it! Ha!
My siblings are almost evenly divided 3 Dems, 2 Repubs, and 1 that I've never asked (don't know why).
We'll be working on them!

runs a McCain ad as news. It is a contribution in kind and makes a case for reinstating the Fairness Doctrine.
