This looks like good coverage of Bush's early life as a stumblefuck. It doesn't really show how it's going to portray him as president.

1. How else can you portray him, other than as a stumblefuck?

2. Sympathy for the Devil
Regardless its intentions or artistic quality
Humanizing these criminals isn’t a good thing.

4. Brolin is a poor choice. He doesn't look anything like him and
the one playing poppy sir even worse.

5. The problem is there are not too many actors that do look like Bush...
There is that one right-wing guy who was in That's my Bush as well as that 9/11 propaganda film, but even if he would take the role which I highly doubt he is a crappy actor. There may be another actor out there who looks like Bush that is not so well known, but it is not easy to find a good actor who looks just like the person they are portraying. In my opinion it is more important to get someone who can act than it is to get someone who looks just like Bush, so I think Brolin is as good of a choice as I could have come up with.

13. I've seen a lot of Bush impersonators and any one of them
looked closer than Brolin. Although the actor playing poppy bush is the worst of the lot as far as looking nothing like him.

They should have used more makeup.

7. Doesn't really matter if they "look like" them...Can they "act" like them?
That's all I care about

14. Not me. I actually like them to at least resemble the person
they are playing. Look at Joaquin Phoenix doing Johnny Cash. Amazing. Jim Carrey and Andy Kaufman. It can be done.

9. in this trailer, Brolin did a pretty good job. In general, Brolin looks too smart and manly

Bush himself is a cowardly, sniveling brat who has other people fight his battles and clean up his messes. THE ROAD TO PERDITION had a great character that reminded me of Baby Bush. Paul Newman was a cagy mob boss, and Daniel Craig was his stupid, explosively violent son whose abuse the mob lieutenants had to tolerate because of his father. The son thought he was next in line for the thrown, but once his father died, the lieutenants made short work of him too.

The problem with Baby Bush is it's not just Poppy that's protecting him, but all the other blue-blooded trust fund babies whose business he is doing by screwing the rest of us.

I may actually go see this movie, if only out of morbid curiosity....does that make me a bad person?

12. Here is another take on "if there is a God".......
Subject: Bush in Hell SCENARIO (I particularly like this scenario)

> George Bush has a heart attack and dies.
>
> Obviously, he goes to Hell, where the Devil is waiting for him.
>
> "I'm not sure what to do," says the Devil.. "you're on my list, but I
> have no room for you. But since you definitely have to stay here, I am
> going to have to let someone else go.
>
> "I've got three folks here who weren't quite as bad as you. I'll let one
> of them go, but you'll have to take their place. I'll even let you
> decide who leaves." George thought that sounded pretty good, so he
> agreed. The Devil then added, "But I must also tell you that once you
> have chosen, you can't change your mind. We're that sort of place."
>
> The Devil opened the first room. In it was Richard Nixon and a large
> pool of water. He kept diving in and climbing out, over and over again.
> Such was his fate in Hell.
>
> "No!" George shouted. "I don't think so. I am not a good swimmer, and I
> don't think I could do that all day long".
>
> The Devil led him to the next room. In it was Tony Blair with a sledge
> hammer and a room full of rocks. All he did was swing the hammer, over
> and over, time after time.
>
> "No! I've got this problem with my shoulder, I would be in constant
> agony if all I could do was break rocks all day", commented George .
>
> The Devil opened the third door.. In it, George saw Bill Clinton lying on
> the floor with his arms staked over his head, and his legs staked in a
> spread-eagle pose. Bent over him was Monica Lewinsky doing what she does
> best.
>
> George Bush looked at this in disbelief for a while and finally said,
> "Yeah, I can handle this."
>
> The Devil smiled and said "OK, Monica , you're free to go!"
