The politicians have been coached ad nauseum to never answer a yes or no question with yes or no unless it lies in strict adherence with safe policy positions, like "Will you raise taxes on the poorest families in America and pledge to ban dogs and cats as pets when you are president?"

9. The old man really needs

to get out in the real world more often. Does he really think that "two parent families" (of any variety) are the norm nowadays? Does he really think that even if there are two parents in a family that it's automatically a strong, healthy family? Actually, I think that most politicians (regardless of party) have absolutely no idea how a lot of American kids live. Obama, having been a community organizer in Chicago, probably has more of a realistic perspective than most.

Oh, and maybe next year, McCain can be on Dancing With The Stars - he sure seems to enjoy tap dancing.

10. McCain and Gay Adoption Rights

One really has to look around to get a clue as to what McCain's real stances are on anything..
Two weeks ago in an interview with the New York Times McCain said he does not support gay adoption.
