...and yes, if the electoral map stays the same as it was in 2004, McCain will win. i think a first grader could conclude that.

...and yes, MoveOn is often a whiney joke. i have no idea why democrats and MoveOn can't seem to put together effective commercials that drive the point home. hell, all you have to do is a series of commercials where it shows McCain saying flip-flop, then follow him up with him opposing himself every other week. hell, there is enough material there to air a new one every week until the election. give people something simple, that they can quickly relate to, and that sticks. if people are scratching their heads trying to figure out what McCain meant when he took both sides of an issue, they will start to question his sensibilities n everything else.

And he didn't make any sense to me in this clip. WTF was he trying to say, exactly? "You know there're some names that stick with you, Haliburton, Shinola, Moveon dot org - you've gotta be very careful!"

If someone could explain what he was trying to get at, I'd appreciate the translation.

Since Mark Green took over the network, he has basically destroyed it. It's almost as if he wanted to kill it. Anyway I live in Austin and they dropped air america here, so I can only get it through internet, which I never do.

Because I bought it for AAR and loved it at first... then Green took over and set about getting rid of anyone who had talent as fast as possible. I believe the only ones left are Rachel Maddow, who I have such a crush on, and Ring of Fire. Poor Sam Seder hasn't been able to find another gig and seems doomed to stay without sorry ass network.

But XM got smart and ditched almost the entire AAR lineup. Saved me as a subscriber. i hated Lionel from the first time I heard him.

media" responsible for this crap.

The anchors at CNN & MSNBC (minus Keith, obviously) are DESPERATELY looking for some reason, ANYTHING to "bash" this guy. According to this segment he's "presumptious"...For what?..for simply saying he thinks his chances at winning "are good but we have to be careful"?!

Just yesterday, Mike Barnacle on Hardball tried to spin Obama's apparent "confidence" in Europe to an idea that he was "arrogant and smug"....Say WHAT?
Obama is so likable, so "not" any of this, that you KNOW they're furiously scraping the bottom to find SOMETHING -- Anything -- to make him look bad.

As for Lionel, they were just taking advantage of someone they could frame as "progressive" e.g. from "Air America" to continue their desperate attempts to smear Obama

They're grasping at straws and in light of Obama's positives and immense popularity -- It's just SO obvious!

Maybe when he becomes President, he'll thank their corporate asses by breaking up the media monopoly.:wtf:
