Here is the newly released trailer for Hacking Democracy, which is going to air on HBO ****TONIGHT**** at 9pm

This film is going to help catapult our cause on to the mainstream stage!

KEEP IN MIND, if things go as some are suspecting they will, there will be alot of confusion and uncertainty about some of the election results in the days after the election. HBO will be repeating this film throughout the month of November, just as everything is playing out. The timing couldn't be better!

Filmed in 2004-05, this documentary tells the story of Bev Harris, a Seattle publicist/writer whose watchdog group uncovered evidence of mishandled voting records and suspicious voting machine malfunctions. Harris' crusade took the group--consisting of computer experts, activists and political candidates from both parties--from her home computer (where she found a computer system blueprint accidentally made public) to Tallahassee, FL for a "mini-election" that proved just how easy it is to hack the vote. maybe they were thinking, "If we tell people right before the election that their vote doesn't count, maybe they'll stay home". I agree that they should have released this months ago, and pressured the legislature to do something about it.

we need this to be fresh in people's minds when they go to the polls.

and there's a possibility that there will be a lot of confusion about who won many of the races, like florida 2000. if that's the case, having this showing on HBO almost every night in the middle of it will be PERFECT timing.

but the bottom line is, the timing was not politically motivated. they've been working hard to get the film completed and this is just when it happened. Divine intervention?

9. Hack Hell!!

The real Hack isn't from the outside it starts right in Karl Rove's head. What stops the OWNERS of the BIG Corps. like Diebold, ESS and Sequioa from simply manufacturing the election. The machines all come with contracts from these companies to install and maintain the hardware and software. The GOP through it's affliates are simply rigging elections right out of the Corp. offices of the owners and CEO's of these companies. It doesn't take a HUGE conspiracy to do this just a few well placed knowledgeable experts to design and manage the code and the upgrades necessary to keep the whole crooked operation going. The Repig's deepest dirty black bag operation is against the American people. The machines are their not so secret weapon and the GAME is to prove they're doing it. They've very very carefully war gamed this whole nasty business and spent hugely doing it. They have millions of people that absolutely love the fact that they have this edge. That feel it's perfectly ok to steal what they cannot win legally. At the core of this whole enterprise is a sneering hatred and contempt for the opposition and for anyone who dares even think that they have the right to choose really choose who runs this country. As these bastards see it THEY and THEY alone have that right. The machine fix will eventually fail IMO because eventually like all well laid plans it will unravel exposing the truly evil rotten core of the REPIG fascist party. Unfortunately HBO's little drama is too little too late for the D's this time. Amerika though is waking up to the sordid stinky reality that we've already been taken over by a criminal gang and it's far from over. These folks aren't letting go of power so easy or at all. They'll fight to the death to keep this machine edge. With the Military Commission Act and the Patriot Act in place if they really feel threatened they'll probably just cook up another terrorist attack and impose martial law. Game over.
