1. Did you know that Tucker is scheduled to speak to the Ron Paul Convention?
Yes, he is.

4. Your video description is not accurate.
Carlson using the words "embarrassing" and "ludicrous" was in reaction to the Republican Convention being delayed due to concerns over Hurricane Gustav.

Only the "reckless move" comment was used in reference to Palin.

6. his views on science pretty much say
that floating unsubstantiated and ludicrous ideas about in order to find an excuse to stop changing the environmentally destructive habits of humans is a valid course of action. If they do not have anything scientific in their basis, they should be shut down.

And it certainly is a valid point to call out oil companies paying for information that absolves them of complicity and lets them keep on the path they're on.

He needs to ease up on the glue he's sniffing.

7. Wow!
I'm actually shocked (and scared) that I agreed with
everything he said.
I can't think of a time that I have agreed with Tucker on much of anything.

Maybe it's the socks, or lack thereof!

:scared:

8. He's still an idiot
He doesn't understand what science is. Or he does and he's deliberately confusing it with politics. He's an idiot.

9. Good critical thinking from Tucker
I have to say I find Tucker to be one of the more open-minded, truly critically thinking conservative talking heads... most of the time. I think he made a mistake to be on a show like Crossfire, he was as Jon Stewart pointed out to him, playing a partisan hack at that time. But to start a real open meaningful dialogue with those who are idealogically opposite, we need people like him and Pat Buchanan. People who are not just going to mindlessly parrot the propaganda of the right, or the left. People who are willing to criticize "their own" so to speak. If we don't have those people, and if we are blind to "our own's" mistakes, growth and understanding are impossible.

13. Note the closing... where Tucker couldn't restrain a grin at the cute little vloggers ....
.... from TPM media playing at journalism. Gotta give Carlson credit, though, for still going outside after the beating he took from Jon Stewart a few years back.
