Make Palin a non issue. She is insignificant as far as he is concerned. GOBAMA.
I still want questions answered about Palin and how is she qualified to be VP and ultimately if necessary President.
PTA, Mayor and 20 Months as Governor with the population the size of Toledo, Ohio does not count as "Executive Experience."
I hope Obama can keep it about the issues and we can focus on the corruption of McCain and his soul mate lipstick dog.

but he's not letting it hurt his focus in the least. If anything, it's making him sharper.

but I am starting to figure out why Obama/Biden are not attacking Palin....they want to make her to be insignificant to the election race...the Repubs/media want to make Palin out to be some kind of star/game changer and Obama says no to that and treats her like a pimple on an elephant's ass. Because if they attack her they begin to legitimize her and the Repubs/Media will call him sexist. He knows he has a clear advantage if it is him vs McCain!

A single toe nail of Obama oozes more class than all the Republicans put together.
What a shameful speech by Ms.Palin last night - I am glad Ms.Palin isn't in my party.

Seriously, Senator Obama is fantastic. Intelligence, class, wit, and best of all, he's utterly unflappable to their attacks. They keep trying to ruffle his feathers, but he won't buy in.
"I've been called worse on the basketball court." Brilliant!

20. His response right there has opened my eyes... |
|
Like many for the past week I've been sort of obsessed with Sarah Palin. I've been searching the forums here and elsewhere on more and more and more dirt about her. His simple response right there has made me realize that this is not about Palin. That THIS is what the Republicans do to wound us up, we're falling victim to it. Whether or not McCain's VP choice was smart, it has done what it was meant to do - Get the attention off of Obama. Though we can sit here and say that Palin is a heartbeat away from being President, she's truly not. This is about Obama and McCain.

see my post in the thread (#11). I agree with you 100%.
I too was hoping and hoping for something to come out that would bring Palin down and waiting and waiting for the Obama team to attack her....but after watching that clip of Obama I think he was telling his supporters something in an indirect way...don't spend time on Palin...just like in 1992 it was the economy stupid, in 2008 it is the McCain/Bush record stupid. Yes, Obama has opened my eyes to :-)

The best tactic here in my view is for Obama and Biden to keep hitting hard at McCain and linking him to Bush and forget Palin. She is the republicans latest shiny toy and distraction. They want Obama to go after her and for her to be the focus because as Rick Davis said the McCain campaign don't want this election to be about issues(as they have nothing to offer) but about personalities. Obama is shrewdly not falling into the trap the GOP is trying to lay. Just keep hitting at McCain. He is at the head of the ticket.

"What'd you guys expect?"
It has become conventional wisdom that Republicans attack. Sarah Palin delivered nothing but a purple bandaid speech.
