5. Setting the record straight...
President Bush doesn't have a vote in the Senate. Did you
realize most votes in the Senate are unanimous! That means
every senator voted the same regardless of party. In reality,
McCain voted "with Bush" only 45% of the time.

6. What??
"President Bush doesn't have a vote in the Senate."

Yep. Nor in the House. Nor in my town city council. What's your point?

"Did you realize most votes in the Senate are unanimous!"

Shouldn't that be followed by a question mark rather than an exclamation mark? And, no, I didn't realize that. For me to realize the veracity of a claim, I'd require a bit of proof. What can you offer that would conduce me to come to that "realization? Links?

"In reality, McCain voted "with Bush" only 45% of the time."

What? Didn't you just claim that Bush doesn't have a vote in the Senate? How could McCain vote with Bush if Bush can't vote?

I don't know of anyone on the DU that isn't acutely aware of the first fact that you trotted out. Adults that I know will often make the claim that a Congressperson or Senator voted with or against the President, conveying the meaning that the referenced vote supported or didn't support the President's agenda or issue. But, you know that. What is your purpose here?

The Democratic leaders of our Party have made the claim that McCain has voted to support Bush's agenda nine times out of ten. If you have an issue with that claim, go to any of a number of Democratic websites and request substantiation.

If you're playing a game, this election is too critical for such nonsense. If you are earnestly seeking information, you've chosen a poor way to ask for it.
