Obama is the sensible level headed friend that we all need, especially in times of trouble.

7. I just love him

I know we are all supposed to be a bunch of swooning, dreamy, star-worshipping morons if we say this but I do. I really have affection for him because of the way he handles moments like this. When I personally get all emotional, angry and huffy and not my most articulate when they attack him based on lies or deride what are actually good qualities, he calmly, smoothly, with spontaneous clarity refutes their points and emphasizes his message. Not only is he the most skilled I've seen do this but he actually conveys integrity, a grounded real integrity that I trust and respect.

But most of all I am grateful to him because he really is fighting for us. He's one of the good guys- he could be making gazillions by now as a private lawyer and yet he's taking stupid questions like these- FOR US! Like I said- I love him.
