Although I admire Johnson for admitting failure and not running for re-election. He did good work on civil rights. But of course his pursuing of the Vietnam war was a catastrophically bad decision. Johnson like many politicians, had always been financially corrupt through out his career.

and she hated the Vietnam War too ... and despite being an Irish immigrant she never warmed up to JFK or RFK (she was Ok with Ted,) but LBJ was her favorite President.
