I doubt he's praying at all, if he really is he's praying for bad things, fortunately that tends to work out good for us.

26. He also has not been baptized "I didn't find it necessary"
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,296973,00.html

In a June interview with McClatchy Newspapers, the senator said his wife and two of their children have been baptized in the Arizona Baptist church, but he had not. "I didn't find it necessary to do so for my spiritual needs," he said.

The Associated Press asked McCain on Saturday how his Episcopal faith plays a role in his campaign and life. McCain grew up Episcopalian and attended an Episcopal high school in Alexandria, Va.

"It plays a role in my life. By the way, I'm not Episcopalian. I'm Baptist," McCain said. "Do I advertise my faith? Do I talk about it all the time? No."

3. Why does no one challenge people...
when they claim that The USA was founded upon christian beliefs? It absolutely was not, and we need to protest the perpetuation of this falsehood more vigorously.

7. Near the end Barbara Walters asked a questions about McCain
refusing to leave the prison based on an option provided by his captors. Listen very carefully to the question and his bumbling response. The man is a fraud.

No wonder he was 5th from the bottom of his class, yet another clueless 'student of history' in the * mold.

15. Two things;
First, he said that religion doesn't play a part in the election, which is bullshit. We all know that. Second, the most important thing that was talked about here is WHAT KIND OF JUDGES THEY WOULD APPOINT.

On a lighter note, he probably thought The View would be a cake walk and the "ladies" turned out to be among his harshest critics.

23. Thank You Whoppie! We Zoroastrians say, Good heart and good mind.
We have found these qualities in Barack Obama. We also thank Senator McCain for his shout out. To him we say, beware of the druj you have surrounded yourself with. Deception serves no man well. The only loyalty of the Druj is to Ahriman.

29. Most people do. But when you place your religion on display like an idol. You invite criticism.
Zoroastrianism is one of the few if not only relgion you cannot be born into. Each follower has make the decission to Follow Ahura Mazda. This is marked by the Ahuvata in the ceremony of the Navjote. The only exception is the Rafsanjani of India. They practise zoroastrianism as an ethnic religion. You must be born Rafsanjani. They accept no initiates or converts.

25. !!!The thing that's amazes me is
Both McCain and Palin are explaining away mostly her zealotry as that they both pray to be doing God's Will. They say the are praying "God's will be done."

But this is not true.

If you watch the earlier released video of Palin with her AoG preacher, she actually boasts enthusiatically that her preacher was so motivated to have her as Governor, he did not pray, "If it be your will, Lord.." He flat out prayed, "Make a way. Make a way, Lord" If you didnt notice that listen to that video again (her voice gets pretty creepy at that point as she happily retells the story).

But this is an important point. Basically what that means is that the preacher did not care if it be God's will, he went straight for the "make it so." "make it happen". Basically ordering 'God'.

You know, I'm pretty sure God doesnt work that way. We are to strive to do God's will, not the other way around. To pray like that, to beg for something regardless of it being God's will, is to invite other forces in. Any fundie should know that. So if that's the case, maybe some other entity did indeed help them with the last Governor election and is at this very moment "preparing to give them the riches of the world'. But it might not be God. And we know from the New Testament who did such a thing last time. Jesus was strong enough to refuse the Devil. But Palin and her preacher are begging for the riches.

"Make a way. Make a way, Lord" Hmmmm. Pride. Lust. Covetous nature. Not the Will of God.
