2. you know rachel maddow alluded to mccain's part in iraq.

how he had gone on shows and talked about iraq involvement in things. i hadn't even remembered any of that stuff it's been so long!! kind of changes things, doesn't it? from someone who was on the periphery and talking about the vote alone. a lot of folks voted for the authorization to go into iraq. but the fact that while they were still going through the smoking rubble pulling out victims of 911, while people were still reeling from the attack.... that mccain and his cohorts were out laying that groundwork. that changes everything! well, for me, no. but hopefully for those sitting on the fence.

4. If John McSame could not tell the facts from the false in 2001 what makes his judgement better now?

Did he need seven more years of experience?

Will Sarah help him shake the facts loose with her down home common sense in world affairs born from being so close geographically to Russia?

This man does not have the temperament or the judgement for the oval office. His running mate does not strengthen his weak points in the world of governance. She strengthens his weak points in the world of campaigns and speeches.

The other strong point she brings to the ticket is the one that should concern any libertarian, moderate or central republican or independent. The growth of Fundamental Christian, "Born Again" Christian, and Pentecostal Christian power in the Republican party is causing the Platform of the party to reflect the most radical beliefs of the most active and verbal sects of the party.

Has the platform changed much from the platform of four years ago? Eight years ago? If you are running as a change candidate and you are in the party in power then one would think the platform would reflect dramatically different ideas that represent the candidate and his "maverick" views and not the party standards that have caused the economic, social and international catastrophes we are facing today. Does the platform reflect these new "maverick" ideas? Anywhere? Any new ideas?

Or does it seem like more of McSame?

5. Were the anthrax scares only a month after the 9/11 attacks?

One thing runs into another with this stuff. But, I was surprised that the anthrax incidents occurred that quickly after the 9/11 attacks.

Or did McCain let a cat out of the bag?
