I don't think what the kid did was funny at all. But I am rolling on how they presented it. the last thing the kid needs is to ever go into the system. I suggest that the grandmother hide her keys better which I am doing at the moment.

7. 7? my 7 yr old wouldnt, so i dont have a clue. having parented the child first minutes

of life and on.... being a parent, teacching, nurturing, building a base... there is no way any of my 7 yr old would steal a suv. this child obviously has not had the parenting to shape his life in a positive way so wouldnt be an hour, day or month fix that would help this child. it was 7 yrs for him to get to this point.

BUT

if i were given this child i would start with love, connecting and teaching respect, and that means would have to be both ways..... he has probably had plenty of ass whoppings, a timeout would mean nothing even if someon could make him do a time out and doubt he would allow any other form of discipline.

I think Cenk has a pretty good plan. I would be very tempted to do the spanking then the plan, but spankings never worked for my son. It hurt me more than him, just made him angrier.
