On the Rachel Maddow Show, Walt Monegan, the commissioner Palin fired, says that despite what Sarah Palin has claimed, Palin, her husband and her aides pressured him to fire Palin's ex-brother in law, a state trooper.

"She's not telling the truth when she told ABC neither she nor her husband pressured me to fire Trooper Wooten," said Walt Monegan, the Alaskan official whose dismissal by Sarah Palin is the focus of a state investigation known as "Troopergate". Sarah Palin is now refusing to cooperate with the troopergate investigation.

3. The typical tactics...

to say they will cooperate and when it comes down to doing it, they retract just like Rove. I hope our talking heads keep this in the spotlight so it is not forgotten. By the way, Pelosi said they would vote in September on how to proceed with Rove for his contempt. I bet we'll see just as much engagement this month as in the past months; namely none. A bully will continue to terrorize until someone gives him a bloody nose.
