Robert Kuttner calls Hannity an idiot while the "idiot" trumpets how great the economy is. This conversation took place just days ago. After watching this, I'd like to send Mr. Hannity a crow or two.

1. These guys are public opinion gate keepers, and protecting the economic
status quo for his corporate masters is his primary responsibility. Hannity is a well-paid goon.

19. Hannity is an absolute shill
for the daily RNC talking point.

It was good to watch an occasion he wasn't able to browbeat someone with complete impunity.

Hannity was offended that 'goddamn' was uttered when his own corporatist views are the obscenity.

3. He is programmed.
He displays the same cognitive dissonance as Palin. They repeat the same lines no matter the question or circumstance. They have the same chip.

4. Notice that when Kuttner speaks to Alan Colmes, he is turned to his far left.

Accidental?
And when he's talking to Hannity, it's at a less awkward angle.

Sean Hannity is such a tool. He makes Bill O'Reilly seem charming in comparison.

even in light of yesterday. CONservative followers are in denial and don't want to face what they have done to this nation.

12. um... yeah, Hannity uses statistics to talk around the truth
It's just what one would expect from a stupid idealogue who can't think and only believes shit that makes it through the filter!!

Low unemployment is kind of meaningless when so many jobs sustain a marginal existance. Jobless ecomomic growth and stagnant wages- what benefit is that?! Loss of health coverage- I mean, is it better to let people suffer and die than entertain a.. oohh... SOCIALISTIC solution?!

Hannity is one stupid fuck!!

13. Notice, no one mentions the socialistic policies of bailing out Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac.
Which just puts the US even deeper in debt. What's another couple billion dollars?

Popeye's Chicken is hiring fry cooks.

16. good point, as Repubicans are all about big government...
when it suits their needs- their need to prop up corporate power or, for that matter, their need to nose around in peoples' personal lives!

14. Well done, Mr. Kuttner!
I am impressed by the way that he was able to expose Mr. Hannity's attempt to shift the subject from the economy to "the surge," which is what all GOP'ers think is their ace in the hole. It isn't, and Mr. Kuttner did a superb job of making that evident. :bounce:

17. Hannity is right. The economy is great if you are a CEO or a multimillionaire.
The super rich have done very well in this economy. They believe: To hell with everyone else.
