There is no excuse for what they did to this GIRL. She was/is totally passive and non-threatening.

They even hit her with their bikes. What bastards. That's just sick. A bunch of men doing this to a young girl.

Please don't make this a gender issue, this was clearly an issue of abuse of authority. Th protester could have as easily been a man. The cops could easily have included a few women. It would not have made an iota of difference.

The girl wasn't doing anything wrong. That was total abuse of police power. The police treated this young woman in such a brutal and degrading fashion. Disgusting.

It is like a whole percentge of the population is choosing sides right now. Have you seen it in our collective unconscious? lines are being drawn, at work, in neighborhoods, etc. And IF somehow they manage to steal this one, we who have been open in our thinking and words will be next.

15. When used properly OC doesn't have a harmful effect on MOST people

It was not used properly here. It should not have been used at all because the situation didn't warrant it as she was not being violent. The amount they used was extremely out of line and it isn't meant to be used like that.

As for the cop that was spraying the reporters feet and telling her to move should be fired immediately. First for assaulting a person with spray without reason and second for violating the reporters first amendment rights.

She seems to be interested in engaging the men in conversation. I think after a few more years of seeing this kind of thing she is going to realize that there are some people who, with little encouragement, will flex on somebody weaker than them just to get their jollies.
