That was a fucking speech!WOW! Obama was impressive.I want everyone here to mark their calenders as something is about to happen that is not a common occurrence.Are you ready? I was wrong.I don't like to be wrong,however,in this instance,I can embrace the fact that I was with joy, and dare I say, an evolving ray of hope. I posted an opinion piece back in February while in a dither because I was pissed because I felt that Dennis Kucinich was getting short-changed by the media and his own party.Although I did say that five years from now I hoped I would be proven wrong,I offered a disparaging opinion of Obama.(and Hillary)Well,I didn't have to wait five years to realize that I was mistaken,and thankfully so.I still have some grave reservations about America's chances,but I have to say that for the first time since that bastard Ronnie Reagan was elected,we just may have hope.That hope is Barack Obama and Joe Biden.Obama has managed for the first time in my 53 years during this particular trip to planet earth to be truly excited by the vision of a politician.I believe he is sincere.I've never been this happy or grateful to admit to a shortcoming in my previous opinion.I hope for my children's sake he is allowed the opportunity to try and right this sinking ship called America.
