1. This is good! I'm glad that CNN did this. Hope the other networks follow
suit and give the subject a LOT of attention.

Couldn't come up with much ammo against Obama, could they? Only the 100 in Iraq remark.

Recommend!

2. They did a decent job, but I'm annoyed that they felt compelled to include the 100 years thing
Edited on Wed Sep-17-08 10:38 AM by ihavenobias
for two reasons:

1)-If a low-info voter happened to catch that segment, they might believe that John McCain never said anything about "100 years", and rather that the Obama campaign completely manufactured it out of whole cloth. Watch the start of the clip again and you'll see what I mean...why didn't they at least think to include a clip of McCain making the 100 years remark? They could still go on and say that McCain didn't mean it in the way the Obama campaign was suggesting.

2)-The 100 years remark is not on par with the horrible sex education to kindergartners smear-job. I hate when the MSM strives for 50/50 equality when it doesn't exist. Fact check organizations do this as well, and I can't help but picture low-info voters thinking "well gosh, I guess both candidates are lying about some things" rather than looking at the *quality* and relevance of the lies.

15. Looks like they want to avoid looking "unfair" to McCain.
They probably needed to throw in some exaggeration by Obama so that they wouldn't get branded "liberal media".

9. "The Emperor's New Clothes"
McCain says the lies are true,
and Palin says she opposed the bridge to nowhere.

OK then, so we now know they are both BIG FAT LIARS.
And they've been told, but hold to their "narrative".

So, in addition to standing before us uncloaked as LIARS,
I wonder if they realize how DELUSIONAL and CLUELESS they look
walking around naked in a transparent Republican bubble.
