56. I get the sense
That Chris has lost thousands in the stock market this week....

Like millions of Americans...

Id like to know how it is that the Fed who injected about 2 trillion dollars into the financial markets over the past year is now bailing out the same companies which took advantage of the Fed's decision help these very companies stay afloat...

This is the largest act of looting in the history of the world....

And I haven't heard a word about any accountability for the losses....

We are almost defenseless against this racket and those who sustain it....

What we do have is our voice, that vote. With Unity we are much more powerful...

58. MY FRIEND!
Edited on Thu Sep-18-08 12:58 AM by Mark D.
The Federal Reserve (ie. the globalist bankers) RUN AMERICA. Their pals, the GOP, dance around screaming 'duck, terror incoming' so everyone panics about AL-CIA-DUH invented bullshit. A few guys in a cave brought down the twin towers and hit the epicenter of the most powerful defense on earth with a long tracked, low and slow flying plane without one single jet to intercept it. Right, only if they wanted it to happen. It's a plan that's coming into place.

The Federal Reserve will 'lend' (hah, OUR future money, ie. WE have to pay it back to the 'nice Fed' for doing this, along with the 5 trillion we owe them to pay for the war their banker (Rothschild/Morgan) energy (Rockefeller) and corporate (Halliburton) friends wanted to profit from. The other 5 trillion we owe to the rest of the world, especially China. America was FUCKING ASLEEP at the wheel when Bush, after the last 'shock doctrine' crisis then bailout, delegated a host of 'new powers' to the Fed to 'fix future issues'.

Please remember, Morgan helped create a downfall that preceded the Great Depression, in the markets. The 'scare' created a shock doctrine to create the Federal Reserve to prevent that 'downfall' from happening when in fact it made it possible to only then have such a grand and great depression (grand for the winners, the few elite profiting off that, all the banks that went under the Fed gobbled up to become the REAL biggest bank in the world).

This happened before, same plan. Same fucking planners. Morgan is the biggest owner of energy speculation driving gas and food prices through the roof and the biggest Hedge Fund of all which is largely behind the housing/sub-prime debacle. This is a manufactured 'crisis'. It allows 'new rules' from the right wing to 'address this' that will create only more opportunities for this to happen again, only worse.

Well, here are the issues. Expect more with their hands out to get hand outs, I mean banks and corporations. When this is done. They'll all still be afloat, but with trillions of our dollars in their pockets, taken from thin air in our debt-based money system. And WE WILL OWE THE FED for pouring OUR FUTURE MONEY into the pockets of these corporate bastards that are turning America into a Corporatist-Fascist Feudalistic society as we speak.

The 'PALIN CONTROVERSIES' all over the FAUX Snooze (OMG, who was pregnant when, LOL, 'hockey mom', hey!, she's purty) are timed great to have everyone 'Britney Speared' into a fake fucking reality while the bastards pretty much buy and sell and trade off our very future from under us, economically. Creating a hole so fucking big that even if Obama wins, God help him, I don't know how he can begin to fix it without shutting down the fake-terra wing (CIA) and then the Federal Reserve behind all this.

A popular president could do all of that if he got the people behind him. All he'd have to do is ask. The last president to ask America to do just what I'd said was JFK. You see what happened to him next. The Nazi Fascists I have just mentioned took him out, and blamed it on the socialists (ie. that 'lone gunman' who was a 'commie'). God help America.

77. True, but he should have seen this coming long ago
Tweety sucked up to Bush when it was fashionable to do so. Now he laments that Bush & the GOP have taken this country to hell in a handbag. I'll gladly accept his conversion to reality, and this rant against Cantor and the GOP flight from Bush is brutally effective. However, Matthews would have been more credible as a journalist if he had taken issue with Republican policies (Iraq, regressive and deficit-creating tax policy, wholesale deregulation) when they were first being shoved down our throats instead of years later after the damage is already done.

Chris should have come back with that's because your thug morons have stood in the Dems way on every effort and they didn't have a significant enough majority to over ride the blocking of your dumb ass twit thugs.

I'm guessing that Matthews has a lot of dough in the stock market, and then we all know he's hypersensitive to everything, so when the market drops, he usually reacts strongly - more strongly than most rich guys, for sure.

Although, I love his putting repubs on the spot ... his shouting out the interviewee is somewhat disconcerting to me and easily written off as biased reporting by repubs.

Hey Chris: Ask the question ... pause ... Let the guy answer ... Then, pounce on the inconsistency of their response.

Souting doesn't advance the point.

105. Agreed, that's always been one of my
big problems with him. Even when in agreement with him it drives me nuts to see him do that. It just makes him look biased, as you say, although, to be fair, I've seen him do that to everyone of all political persuasions, not just repubs. I don't think it's bias, I just think he gets too carried away and is too full of himself sometimes.

He does happen to be absolutely correct in his dressing down here, and it was a joy to watch. I just wish he'd foregone the shouting and the talking over.

What about Bush's "sunny nobility"?What about his "manly package" in that flight suit? What about your assertion that everybody likes hime exept for some far left "whackos." Don' you think that all your (and your MSM colleagues') praise of him of the years and demonization of the "angry left" for daring to disapprove of him has done a bit to get us into this mess? Sure, the Republcians are to blame--but so are the water-carriers in the MSM who helped prop up this criminal regime.

How can you expect to get votes if you are ashamed of what you are and who you are and what you represent.

49. Thank you Chris Matthews
The president has cut and run. Just like he has done with every crisis that he helped to create. Just like on 9/11/01. He sat there in that classroom in Florida even after he was told that the country was being attacked. He just kept looking at his book, because he had no fucking clue what to do. Just like now. He has no clue what to do.

53. Has anyone noticed the change in the MSM lately?
I think their stock portfolios are taking a big hit and they realize that the Repubs aren't the solution. McCain is being debunked on every network. Palin is hiding from them. Their house of cards is falling apart fast.

97. I think the CM is also pissed about Palin.
They don't believe politicians should be given deference, and they're enraged at being denied access to her. Then, too, most of them have much more education than her; at least Bush has an MBA from Harvard (even if he didn't get it based on his actual academic achievement). Plus, Palin studied to be a journalist. That's she's blocking journalists from access to her could be seen by some as a turncoat to their brotherhood.

63. I love seeing Chris Matthews ready to Pop and Idiot like this
Cantor is the reason why Democrats fail. He is too idiotic to pay attention to, so they walk away like any normal, non medicated human. Unfortunately, there is nobody to save the Medicated morons from people like Cantor, so that why the Republicans win. War of attrition.

Democrats have better things to do than to spew lies like Cantor and his ilk.

When will someone address that lie about the democrats controlling ANYTHING for the past 2 years? How can a democratic "Controlled" congress do anything, with at most a one vote advantage in the Senate and a Mad Dog Despot like Bush, in charge of the veto pen?

I loved the slapping but it could be improved upon.

71. The chant needs to start: WHERE'S BUSH? WHERE'S BUSH? WHERE'S BUSH?
I am so sick of the Republicans all of a sudden "not Republicans."

I've been traveling this summer and able to watch a lot of political ads -- all sorts of state races. And the most notable part of any ad by the Republicans is NOT USING THE WORD "REPUBLICAN" anywhere on the ad. At one point I was visiting a dear friend and I had to ask her, "What party is that guy?" (I figured Repubs, but wanted confirmation).

The other odd thing -- they are running ads with Dem buzz words like "change" AND not telling us what party. It's quite insidious.

But when you see a complete TOOL like this Cantor... you really gotta shake your head.

And I always come back to: DO THEY THINK WE ARE STUPID?

I guess the answer is YES and because a lot of people bought Bush and 28$ are still holding firm, STUPIDITY is RAMPANT.

How do we fight that?

Big full page ad in newspapers across the USA: THESE REPUBLICANS RAN THE ECONOMY INTO THE GROUND -- and then plaster their sorry ass pictures like it was a yearbook. With McCain on the top.

They need to be put back in their uniforms.

I never thought I'd say too much on behalf of Tweety. I'm mostly ambivalent and skeptical about him at best.

But.... I have to say it now... BRAVO!

Maybe.... dare I hope... maybe... the press is GROWING A PAIR! (thank you SNL!)

They can try all their fucking tactics and threats, but I'm not paying back another dime. When they ask why, I'll tell them, "Because I can't afford to pay you back, and pay for bailing out AIG at the same time"... I'll claim "financial hardship" deferments from now until I'm dead in the ground. I suggest all of you with outstanding student loans do the same.

92. OHHHH WHOOOAAA WWWOOOWWWW HOLYSH*T!
I cant believe Matthews made my heart catch in my throat. He is being sincere, I got choked up over the sadness and desperation of all his words. His voice broke when he was demanding "Where is the President." and said W was pulling a Katrina again (And, lets face it a "My pet Goat" AGAIN) Chris stood up for us. Yes the American people are worried, afraid and wondering what can be done next. This is something uncharted. this was led by greed, big bucks people pairing solid mortgages with high risk mortgages, then selling these to someone else who lumps them with two more solid/high risk pairs to get more $ from the risky. So on and on and on they keep adding these pairs together and getting more $ until now no one knows what to do when it all unravels. Many were expecting housing would contiunue to climb, that the houses they couldnt afford yesterday they would somehow through rising house cost beable to either sell at a profit or refinance. This DID NOT HAPPEN. They should have NEVER bought the houses, and they should have NEVER been offered the $ to buy them. It was greed. The $ of the houses went down, those people could not cover their loses or sell and fell into foreclosures and because solid loans were mixed with high risk loans, then bunched with more solid/high risk pairings, on and on and on now NO ONE KNOWS THE VALUE ANYMORE. There is no way to tell what the value is. It is crazy, absolutely crazy. And now the high risk investments because they were paired with the solid investments are now dragging everything down. EVERYTHING.

And McCain was against regulations before he was for it. Flipflopper. And no one is calling him on it. No one is giving them the goose/gander like they did Kerry in 2004. At least Chris is calling out the chickensh*t Republicans. Indeed. WHERE THE HELL IS W? THE REPUBLICAN PRESIDENT? MIA AGAIN. It's beyond pathetic. It is criminal.

The buck stops here, McCain. You sold your soul to that party. You are stuck with it. Can't change jerseys now, jerk.

You have to take responsibilities, SIR, for the policies of this administration that has gotten us into this mess. You can't walk away and say, 'oh we had nothing to do with this' can you?"

Nothing will ever quite make up for his awkward gushing slobbering spiel of man love for Dubya and his fake package during that fake carrier landing, but this comes close.

I do wonder if this is all him or if MSNBC, reading the tea leaves and seeing the success of Keith's show, have told them all to go for it, go after these slime balls. It is possible that the MSM other than Faux News can smell the blood in the water. We can hope.
