1. You know, not saying he's not....but we really only have one side of this story
I did see his interview, and while I disagree with him using the stungun on the kid, he claims something very different than what she has said. At this point, I have left room for doubt, because of all her lies. I think palin was on a mission to get him fired, and I hardly believe anything she says now.

5. True, Wooten Sounds Like A Jerk
Yeah, Mike Wooten sounds like a big jerk, but that's not the point. He had already been disciplined for his wrong doing. And if Palin did nothing wrong because Wooten really needed further disciplinary action (Monegan should have fired him) then she shouldn't be afraid of the investigation. This is hardly a partisan witch-hunt, the commission that voted for the investigation had twice as many Republicans as Democrats.

10. He's hardly the first law enforcement official to be an abusive asshole...
A better question would be: Would Sarah Palin care about a trooper tasering his son and allegedly abusing his wife if it weren't her nephew and sister being harmed? Would she want a trooper who abused his family fired if they weren't (formerly) related to her?

And if she's eager for the truth to come out, she would welcome an investigation NOW. But I understand she wants to delay it until after the election--probably because there's stuff in there that won't look good.

And is it me or does she have the Republican tendency of sending in 50 words where 10 will do?

6. Answering subpoenas would give the first family of Alaska a good opportunity to get the true story
on the record in full.

And show their respect for the rule of law, the process of government in Alaska and the fairness of the Alaskan people who will be on the jury in the hearing.

If they really do believe in all those things and the truth of their story.

What do you think Gov. Palin? Do you believe in all those things?

7. Is that deference from Hannity?
Seems like they found someone to provide the respect and deference that they were looking for. Sympathetic puppy-dog look on his face, nice, soft questions....

8. From what I've heard....
...everything that has been said about 'that mean man', was stuff that the Palins were completely involved in at the time. His, supposed, use of his wife's license/stamp to kill a moose cow, was well known and the rest of the family ate off the poor dumb animal right along with him...his 'having a beer' - and from what I've heard nobody's claiming he was drunk - before driving a patrol vehicle, was a one-time thing for which he has been punished...using a 'taser' on the kid was more the kid's idea than his. He reluctantly did so after cranking the power down to 'test' mode, after which the kid wanted to do it again to which he refused.

Now if none of that's true, I'd like to hear it, but still, the point is these guys sat around the kitchen table when the sister said she needed to come up with a bunch of stuff to use on the guy for the divorce proceedings, and she got it. Including the newly elected Governor who said, I can take care of that guy, just watch.

9. Uh, Sarah
Didn't the judge have to warn you about the emotional impact on "the mean guys" kids about your public spankings of their father?

12. Notice her lying eyes. Each time she was saying what she did
she looked left. That is the direction associated to eye movement when someone is "visually constructing" something, or making it up.

She has a lying tell.

13. Walt Monegan
Walt Monegan, public safety commissioner, acknowledged there's not enough law enforcement in Alaska. He's drafting plans to create a system that will encourage villagers to become local officers and, eventually, state troopers. It will require legislative approval and should be introduced in Juneau next year, he said.

Gov. Sarah Palin hadn't seen the Amnesty report, said spokeswoman Sharon Leighow early Thursday afternoon.
