Bosshog, I have been a lurker for a long time (since DU opened, actually) and I just LOVE your posts and humor. Thought I'd take a second to thank you for all your wisdom and all the fun!

(And see? I'm posting. Slowly, but I'm trying to get in the habit now...)

9. Why Thankyou KS Diva, glad you are with us
As you probably know my wife is from Kansas and that's our designated hurricane evacuation location. We have a room dedicated to Dorothy and the gang in our house. We will most likely move to Kansas when my wife retires but that may be years from now. She was a real pain in the butt this year at work when KU won the National Championship, and of course we have their Penant proudly displayed in the garage. I look forward to your future posts.

12. Welcome!
Don't worry about the count. It took me a very long time to get to 100 and when I did I made a tongue in cheek post about it. I lurked for years. It's funny but I don't remember what it was that caused me to come out of the closet. Enjoy and see you around. Peace, Kim

2. So he wants the Federal Election Commision Chairman to resign?
Edited on Fri Sep-19-08 09:08 AM by EnviroBat
Well, that would sure make stealing an election a bit easier...

6. Palin's ready to step in on day one.
Seriously, I think his health is breaking down, and he shows signs of early dementia. If elected, his administration would be very short.

5. I know it's bad form to say, but I think this run for office is killing this man.
Win or lose he won't make it another four years. At least not in any form we can recognize.

The election process is a form of torture. Or enhanced interrogation depending on who or when you ask.

7. I didn't think he looked well either. I hate be so morbid, but I'd be surprised if he made it 4 yrs.
He has made so many mental blunders, but they really do not get the coverage they deserve. So many have gone unreported altogether.

11. I love this bs
Point the finger at ANYONE but yourself, your friends --- in other words, another dishonorable scapegoater.

I think it shows extremely poor leadership to always be pointing the finger at someone and declare they need to be fired (as he said yesterday before he realized he couldn't fire him) when the shite hits the fan. How about an honest assessment of the mess?

In that regard, Obama said what I"ve been feeling. Clean out Washington. Nothing but a bunch of cronies sitting around getting filthy rich while their incompetence and bad judgment places this country into further and further peril.

And yes, he is clearly losing it. May I suggest we add GOP to all McCain/Palin ads and attacks, as he may not be the person we are fighting in November. The GOP's failed policies.....the GOP's "no regulation" mantra proven clearly false and reckless.....etc.

14. McCain accuses Obama of growing gov, while he calls for new agency
McCain is claiming Barack Obama will grow the government.

However, today, McCain says he wants to to form a new federal agency to handle the financial crisis.

16. You know, McCain has NEVER had to compete in a long electoral season.
He's been easily re-elected in Arizona over the years and was out early in the 2000 election. He even got to rest for MONTHS while the Democratic primaries played out. For a long time, they were limiting him to one appearance per day with weekends off. Now they can't afford that luxury and I'm sure it's taking its toll. He could easily keel over before 11/4.

Never mind that Caribou Barbie is probably sneaking ground glass into his morning Metamucil to speed the process along.

17. First dude is lurking behind the curtains...
Fortunately he will never come on stage because that stage belongs to Obama.
Greedy hypocrites is what they are. They would cheat on their own blood.
