Barack Obama called for accountability and bipartisan while backing efforts of legislators and the administration to develop a plan to resolve the current economic crisis.

"We must also help Main Street," Obama stated.

"Tough new regulations on financial institutions" are necessary he said.

Emphasizing the need to put aside bipartisan bickering, Obama said,
"It is critical at this point that the markets and the public have confidence that their work will be unimpeded by partisan wrangling, and that leaders in both parties work in concert to solve the problem at hand."

6. Out of all three who came gave statements this morning...
Who looked more presidental,Obama, and Barack even took questions.

Bush came out looking afraid and read his little prepared statement.

McCain came out and repeated what Obama had already been saying all week and then continued to blame Obama for the crisis..

8. Yes, Obama is already leading more so than...
McCain or Bush.

He has been very Presidential handling this economic crisis.

McCain is stuck in the mud of his dishonorable campaign, flip flopping all over the place. I hope voters notice the stark difference.

10. K & R for Greatest Page
great video of President Obama.

McCain is beginning to look like the police character portrayed by Kevin Bacon in the Animal House parade scene.
