I took this today at an event sponsored by the UMWA. Joe Biden hits McCain hard!

5. Man, his talk is like a fresh Spring breeze!
Clears away all the fetid odors that McCain - Palin put out and lays out a concrete vision of how to turn this train away from the impending wreck!

2. Thank you, cynatnite!
I would have loved to have been there. I looks like a small, intimate type of gathering. I'm so glad you got a chance to see him!

6. Hey all
I was there too. My mom and I drove from Kingsport, Tn.(1 hour 20 minutes) to see him. We were elated and energized. This was a fish fry put on the by the UMWA. We were also blessed to hear speeches from Gov. Tim Kaine, Rep. Rick Boucher and UMWA Pres. Cecil Roberts. For those that don't know about Rick Boucher, he has been the Democrat Representative for over 30 years for this district. He is very loved by all of his constituents. He is running unopposed this time!!Yay!!

The UMWA is part of my family history. My great-grandfather was an engineer for the mines and my grandmother was a nurse for the mines for years. These people really go all out for the Dems. The fish fry was free to all, they gave out UMWA for Obama/Biden t-shirts and hats to everyone. What a great group to have on our side. Another example of how unions take care of their people. The asked people to sign forms calling for the Freedom of Choice Act and they got a ton of responses.

I hope that everyone here gets a chance to see Joe in person. It was a great day! Sorry that this response is so long, but I am still pumped up from it all. Gotta get them to the White House!!!

7. It sounds like it was a wonderful event
I generally hear very positive things from people who see Joe in person, so I understand you're being "pumped up".
