2. That reminded me of the old Michael Moore from "TV Nation" |
|
Entertaining. Clearly edited for our enjoyment. It would have been fun to have a few seconds at an Ohio Obama office at the same time of day to show the contrast.

Republicon on their campaign signs. The scary ones are the ones that still admit being Republicons. A neighbor of mine actually shows up at the coffee shop this morning in a car with a W-04 sticker on his car and a W04 t-shirt on and he is still proud to be one, scary. This is Ohio and the guy is a manager in a machine shop that will probably go under in the coming recession. He's still one of the 26% ers.

8. Came off a bit dickish |
|
and I think the young man he spoke to gave him honest answers to his questions without treating him like the obvious asshole that he was at the time.
Way not to bring people to our side. You never know, had he approached those people the right way they might have become interested in hearing what President Obama has to say, should he be President. This kind of behavior turns people off.
On the other hand, good observation about the distancing of the GOP candidates from their own party.

11. I agree. I actually liked the way the republican kid handled himself |
|
I didn't like the way the cameraman represented democratics.
It was as if he barged onto their ground expecting an attack that never happened.
There seemed to be an opportunity for them to have a real interesting conversation but it was missed.

|
id rather slow down at work... let the corps FAIL... than feed the coffers of the robbers....
worse tho.... i expect a 3rd person to be appointed.... the one who will succeed the McCain age thing... and the Palin puppet thing...
AND WE WILL AGAIN BE RULED FROM THE SHADOWS

9. Good point avbout everyone running from the Republican label |
|
I really liked the question at the end: "You seem like a nice guy, why are you a Republican?" :D The guy did indeed seem very nice and bright, it's good to recognize that they are not all caricatures. He must just be misguided or brainwashed...

13. I've noticed that about not mentioning affiliation |
|
on campaign materials. But it's not just Republicans that do this, I've yet to see an Obama sign that spells out D-e-m-o-c-r-a-t.
On the up side, though... LMAO when he asked about Palin keeping the money for the Bridge to Nowhere and the guy went, "What?"
